Tencent and PUBG Corp have announced that fans of the game who play PUBG Mobile will be able to take part in a special crossover event with the new Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie.
Starting on May 22, PUBG Mobile players will start to see hints and clues scattered across the game, including marks and footprints left by the giant dinosaur, gear used “to track the massive behemoth, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters themed items.”
This isn’t the first time that a movie studio has teamed up with PUBG to hype a movie release, with Resident Evil and Mission Impossible both using special in-game events to promote their latest cinematic offerings.
