Sammie Kang, the Community Lead at PUBG Santa Monica, has revealed that the incredibly popular battle royale title will receive a major update after the PUBG Global Invitational 2018, which concludes on July 29.
The statement came after a Twitter user, Kevin O’Connell, expressed his disappointment in the current state of the game, saying that “constant issues” were beginning to get to him.
Kang attempted to reassure O’Connell, saying that a number of UI and UX improvements will be joined by some quality of life changes after the conclusion of two million dollar event in Berlin.
We have a big update coming up right after PGI. There will be some UI/UX improvements and QoL changes. Hope that addresses some of your frustration. After that, we will continue to work on other things that cause issues for our players.

Kang also promised that the development team behind PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will “continue to work on other things that cause issues for players” after that update.
