Fans accused Natalie Mordovtseva of using her boyfriend Josh Weinstein on 90 Day: The Single Life, and she explained why.
Natalie Mordovtseva moved to Los Angeles, California on 90 Day: The Single Life Season 4 to pursue her dreams of modeling and acting in Hollywood.
The 90 Day Fiancé star is also living with her mom, Nelia, who came over to the US from Ukraine.
Natalie wanted to live in Los Angeles to be closer to her boyfriend Josh Weinstein, but didn’t have a job or a place to live yet.
90 Day Fiancé fans have accused Natalie of “using” Josh by relying on him to help her find work and an apartment.
Josh helped Natalie negotiate to find an apartment
In an interview with ET, Natalie explained why she expected Josh to help her settle into her new life in California.
“To be able to rent an apartment, you have to have credit score, which I never had. And also, if it’s my first ever place to rent I have to have a guarantor, or someone who would help to be more secure, for landlords to feel more secure,” Natalie said.
Natalie added that looking for a place had to do with the country she was from. “I got a lot of refusals because people would say, ‘Oh, you’re from Ukraine, from country of war, you’re just visiting because of your papers. You have no credit score’ …and I would get refused a lot.”

The 90 Day Fiancé cast member also noted that Josh’s input sped up the process of finding an apartment. “Josh really came up and he helped me negotiate, and I think with his help it went much easier for me to find home. He was kind of a resource because he would talk, and he would help me with settling the papers that we needed.”

Even though fans feel that Natalie is dependent on Josh to start her life in California, her explanation clears up their confusion.
Natalie has only been living in the US for a few years, and is still figuring out how everything works in a new country.
In addition to finding a job and paying for an apartment, she also has to worry about taking care of her mom and making sure she’s happy.
When Natalie gets more adjusted to her life in the US, she might rely on Josh less and be able to do more things herself.
90 Day: The Single Life airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET on TLC.
