Captain Kerry Titheradge replaced Captain Lee Rosbach on Below Deck Season 11, and fans think his fair management style beats his predecessor.
Captain Kerry Titheradge is stepping into Captain Lee Rosbach’s shoes for the first time on Below Deck Season 11.
When he sat down with the crew for their first meeting, he described his management style as firm but fair, but told them not to take advantage of his kindness.
In the first episode of Season 11, Captain Kerry walked around the interior of the boat to make sure it was clean, and called out Bosun Jared Woodin when he incorrectly dropped the anchor.
The Below Deck Adventure Captain is already making his mark as he sails around Grenada with the St. David crew on the new season.
Below Deck fans call Captain Kerry “approachable”
On Reddit, Below Deck fans shared how much they loved Captain Kerry’s management style and compared him to other captains in the franchise.
“He feels fair with high standards but not unapproachable and I thought his comment about bad days and mental health was nice. Capt lee and sandy feel kind of unapproachable and like they always pick favorites and least favorites openly which would suck if you worked there,” one fan wrote.

Another fan agreed and said, “It’s early of course, but I get the impression Kerry wants Fraser to succeed and that the two actually like/respect each other.”
A third person added, “I just love Captain Kerry! I’m so glad to see him with BD OG. As he said, he had big shoes to fill, but no doubt this will be a great season with him at the helm!”
Although Captain Kerry replacing Captain Lee was an adjustment for long-time Below Deck fans, they’re already shocked by what a great job he’s doing.
After watching other captains on the show like Captain Sandy Yawn side with certain crew members and insert themselves into the drama, it’s refreshing for viewers to see Captain Kerry join the original Below Deck series.
As Season 11 continues, Captain Kerry will be more familiar with the crew members and show how he handles the highs and lows of the charter season.
Below Deck airs Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
