Below Deck Season 11 stew Xandi Oliver joked about taking anxiety medication on the show, and franchise alum Hannah Ferrier reacted to the conversation.
Xandi Oliver is a new crew member on Below Deck Season 11, and intrigued viewers with her love of witchcraft and crystals.
So far, she’s presented herself as a low maintenance stew who excels at housekeeping services while working on the boat.
Although Xandi hasn’t caused any drama on the show yet, she did call out Cat Baugh for not paying attention to detail when she was cleaning the guest’s bedrooms.
However, some of the stew’s comments in her confessionals may have rubbed other Below Deck alums the wrong way.
Hannah Ferrier slams Xandi for breaking “martime law”
In a recent episode of Below Deck Season 11, Xandi admitted that she’s starting to lose patience for Cat’s lack of experience as a stew on the boat.
“I haven’t found the exact crystal to work on patience, but there’s a little thing called Xanax. That seems to be just fine,” Xandi revealed in a confessional the show.
When a screenshot from the scene was posted by Decider on Instagram, former Below Deck Mediterranean Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier commented on the photo.

“Wait…but…maritime law,” the franchise alum jokingly wrote, throwing shade at Bosun Malia White.
On Below Deck Med Season 5, Hannah was fired by Captain Sandy Yawn for having valium on board, which is a medication she took to help her anxiety.
Captain Sandy thought that being in possession of drugs on board would be a threat, and she could lose her captain’s license if anyone found out.
Hannah’s comment was meant to poke fun at her firing, and express her confusion about why Xandi is allowed to mention taking drugs when her job was on the line for the same reason.
The Below Deck Med star’s reply to the post was likely all in good fun, and not intended to make Xandi feel bad.
Below Deck airs Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
