Love Island Season 9 star Lana Jenkins cleared off speculations about her having a boob job and opened up to fans through a TikTok video.
Lana Jenkins became part of the Love Island franchise during Season 9, where she was paired up with Ron Hall. The two had a passionate on-screen romance and left the island together.
However, the pair’s relationship didn’t last more than three months in the real world, and they had to split when they couldn’t handle long-distance. Since then, Lana has moved on to focus on her career and personal goals – one of those being a breast augmentation.
On February 4, she addressed her breast surgery for the first time and told fans that she would talk about it soon. She said, “Because I have been getting a lot of comments lately, I will address my boobs. Yes, I have had my boobs done. For myself and myself only.”
Love Island almost made Lana opt out of the surgery
Lana posted another TikTok where she expressed how she always wanted a boob job ever since she was 16, saying she felt insecure in her body and describing herself as ‘small chested’.
Her sclerosis led to her having an unequally-sized chest, which further added to her insecurity. She said, “It is actually normal and very natural, and not wrong at all, to have one boob bigger than the other.”
She emphasized that it wasn’t a decision she took lightly because her surgery was booked and paid for three years ago, but it was postponed multiple times due to her hectic work schedule.
When Love Island came along, she postponed it again to be on the show.

She said, “I thought it’d be a good thing because, obviously girls watch it, and I just had to basically suck it up and be like… you’re gonna look great, it’s fine. With or without boobs, it doesn’t matter. And it actually didn’t matter.”
Lana continued, “You should feel confident in whatever body, it is just a choice that I wanted to make at some point in life.”
Lana finally had the surgery in October 2023, when she had some free time after filming Love Island Season 9. She revealed that being on Love Island made her not want to get the surgery because she was afraid to influence young girls negatively.
She said, “I think because there’s so many young girls following [me] and there’s a lot of influence in social media. It actually made me not want to do it as much. It made me really consider what I was doing and what I was putting out.”
This was also the reason why Lana didn’t announce her surgery immediately, saying she didn’t want to accidentally promote plastic surgery.
She said, “In life, you do have to do things that you want to do and make you happy. And this is something I wanted to do.”
