There have been rumors that Kyle Richards is dating Morgan Wade, but Kyle has blamed the media for making up a story.
Kyle Richards’ friendship with Morgan Wade has become an ongoing storyline on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The reality star has been spending more time with the country singer than her own husband, Mauricio Umansky, leaving the RHOBH cast to speculate if they might be more than friends.
Kyle was even spotted ring shopping with Morgan, which only created more rumors since she was questioned about buying her own jewelry on the show.
However, Kyle has mentioned many times that she and Morgan are just friends and refuted claims about being in a relationship with her.
Kyle says the media creates a narrative
On Jeff Lewis Live, Kyle addressed the rumors that she was dating Morgan. “She is a group of friends that I lean on. In the media, they only show Morgan. But she’s part of a group of friends,” she explained.
“There’s just those friends that are the first text messages of the day, yeah you know immediately, there’s like tiers of friendship. You may love all of these friends, but there are different tiers. My first text messages of the day are four different people.”
The RHOBH star continued, “But you know, if I’m walking down the street and having lunch with them, they’re usually cut out of a photo… unless it’s Morgan.”

“That’s the narrative they want, so that’s been the focus, and you know, I of course, when you’re going through a hard time, lean on my closest friends.”
Kyle is having a rough season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and is going through a lot in her life.
While the show was filming, she wasn’t speaking to her sister, Kathy Hilton, and she was grieving the loss of her best friend, Lorene Shea.
Mauricio is also traveling more often for work, which is causing Kyle to grow apart from him.
Kyle is rallying her closest friends around her for support during this difficult time, and Morgan is a significant part of that group.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
