Kyle Richards was upset with Mauricio Umansky for missing an event honoring her late friend Lorene Shea on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards held a “Celebration of Life” event for her best friend Lorene Shea, who died after taking her own life.
Kyle’s four daughters attended the event along with country singer Morgan Wade, who performed a song for Lorene in her honor.
However, Kyle’s husband Mauricio Umansky didn’t show up because he was traveling for work, which wasn’t shocking to the RHOBH cast due to rumors about their separation.
Even though the RHOBH couple is having issues in their marriage, Kyle was hurt that Mauricio couldn’t support her by coming to the memorial.
Kyle reveals her travel plans to Mauricio
On the upcoming episode of RHOBH, Kyle gives Mauricio a recap of her “Celebration of Life” event because he wasn’t there.
“Would it have meant something to me if all of a sudden he showed up at the event for Lorene? Of course it would have. You know, he was close with her also,” Kyle revealed in a confessional.
“I’ve been traveling so much,” Mauricio responded, to which Kyle called him out and said, “You have been.” Kyle told Mauricio that she will also be traveling a lot, and mentioned that she’s headed to Spain with the women.

“It’s a little taste of his own medicine to be honest, because there are many times where all of a sudden he’s like, ‘Oh, I’m off to Portugal, I’m leaving for Chicago.’ I don’t really get a heads up,” she admitted.
Lorene’s memorial was an important event for Kyle, and Mauricio not being present at the celebration was clearly a letdown for her.
Mauricio’s absence shows that his relationship with Kyle isn’t as solid as it used to be, and fans are worried they could be separating sooner rather than later.
Kyle was disappointed that her husband couldn’t change his travel schedule to support Lorene, but is thankful for the people who did come to the event.
Kyle defends Mauricio for not coming to the memorial
Not long after calling him out for his absence, Kyle later defended Mauricio for not attending the service and admitted that he did at least make an effort to come to the service and didn’t just leave for his trip without care.
“Mo offered to cancel his trip many times even though there were many people involved in this trip. I told him he did not need to do that,” she revealed during the RHOBH After Show. Hopefully, the reality TV star deciding to clear the air and take back her initial comments means that the estranged couple is currently on good terms.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
