Tom Sandoval revealed his thoughts about filming Vanderpump Rules Season 11 after “Scandoval.”
Tom Sandoval is returning for Vanderpump Rules Season 11 after he betrayed his ex Ariana Madix by cheating on her with her friend, Raquel Leviss.
The Vanderpump Rules star became the villain of the group, and many of them aren’t speaking to him now.
The cast feels that Tom never actually apologized or admitted that he did anything wrong, so it was hard for him to be forgiven.
So far, the only cast member he’s close with is Tom Schwartz, and he even took some time apart from his friend and business partner after “Scandoval” happened.
Tom showed up after being shamed for “Scandoval”
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Tom admitted he had hesitations about filming Vanderpump Rules Season 11. “There was a point in time where I was like, ‘I can’t do this,’ because it was like every day was just one insane thing after another, like it was a lot.”
Tom also discussed how difficult it was filming with the group and going out into the real world to face fans following “Scandoval.”

“One thing, I was like, ‘I’m just gonna show up, I’m just gonna take it,’ and I did, I mean, at the reunion I was there. I took it for like hours, and then I went to BravoCon, I had like 5,000 people there, people booing me, and like, you know, I showed up for this season,” he added.
“I showed up when our band toured. I had to look people on their eyeballs that are wearing like, ‘Worm with a Mustache’ shirts, it was like bungee jumping going out there.”
Vanderpump Rules fans aren’t sure why Tom came back for Season 11, since he wasn’t friends with most of the cast.
Tom’s decision to cheat on Ariana significantly impacted the entire group, and changed their relationships forever.
Raquel didn’t return to the show, but Tom still chose to continue filming along with making other appearances, even though he knew he would be judged for his actions.
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on Bravo.
