Joe Manganiello is the host of Deal or No Deal Island, but he is mostly known for his successful acting career.
One reality TV series that certainly no one was expecting was Deal or No Deal Island. Loosely based on the popular game show, this new show takes the concept to a brand-new level.
Instead of one contestant per episode looking to earn some serious cash, 13 total stars are brought to a remote island to compete in challenges to earn money for an entire season.
There’s also the fact that in each episode, at least one contestant gets eliminated from the competition until one remains.
The iconic series it is based on was hosted by Howie Mandel. But since he is currently busy being a judge on America’s Got Talent, who is taking over the Deal or No Deal franchise?
Who is the host of Deal or No Deal Island?

You might recognize him from his starring roles in True Blood, How I Met Your Mother, and Magic Mike.
It’s pretty clear from his resume that hosting a competition show is a career curveball but for Joe, this might be his favorite project yet.
“I was asked to be on Survivor at one point. I was offered Fear Factor — not the original, but after Rogan stepped aside, I was offered the next incarnation. So they pitched me the show, [Deal or No Deal Island]. I was like, you have no idea who you’re talking to. I’m a big fan of game shows,” he told People.
Maybe this is the start of Joe becoming a reality TV icon. Only time will tell.
