Rumors of a mysterious new Resident Evil game are swirling around the internet, here’s everything we know about Resident Evil Outrage.
Resident Evil Outrage has not been officially confirmed by Capcom, instead, the game was leaked by Bioharzard Declassified and shared on Twitter by Aesthetic Gamer, or Dusk Golem. What makes this rumor worth listening to is the track record of both, as they originally leaked Resident Evil Village, and were right about almost every detail.
More evidence for the existence of Resident Evil Outrage appeared during the Capcom hack in 2020. This also showed images of Resident Evil Village that turned out to be real. So, we know its findings were legitimate, even if the methods used to find them were not. Capcom has remained tight-lipped about the game so far, but Dusk Golem has continued to drip-feed information about the game.

Is there a Resident Evil Outrage release date or platform details?
No, there is currently little information available regarding a release date or details on platforms for Resident Evil Outrage – the game is likely canceled or indefinitely postponed.
The game was reportedly in development for the Nintendo Switch, however, nothing concrete has been revealed. While the game’s development behind closed doors at Capcom is likely, fans have no guarantee it will ever be released, as Capcom is yet to formally acknowledge the title’s existence.
According to the original leak, the game may be have been titled Resident Evil Revelations 3. This and Resident Evil Outrage could either be working titles or official titles. The game could even end up being called Resident Evil Revelations 3: Outrage. Dusk Golem was unsure which of these titles Capcom would settle on, if any as of 2023.
(2/2) very least. Releases as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, along with Village, almost definitely going to be a Switch timed exclusive.
But that'll be announced later this year, for now Village is deserving of the attention, and out in just a few months now!

Gah, I stupidly still think we're in 2020 with 2021 next year, switch Resident Evil Outrage to late 2021, early 2022. https://t.co/jA19FWjy5i

Are there any Resident Evil Outrage gameplay details?
Resident Evil Outrage would allegedly star returning character Rebecca Chambers as its protagonist. Rebecca is a survivor of the original Resident Evil and its prequel Resident Evil Zero. The character was last seen in the animated film Resident Evil Vendetta, where she teamed up with Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy to fight off the returning villains from Resident Evil 4.
The story of Resident Evil Outrage is said to involve Rebecca searching for a cure for a virus that infects people with uncontrollable rage. This sounds a lot like the 28 Days Later film, and if true, could mean the game will feature quicker and more aggressive enemies, rather than the shambling undead.

The game is said to be set before Resident Evil Village and will use third-person gameplay similar to the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, as well as 4, 5, 6, and the previous two Revelations titles. These games are usually spin-offs, exploring the lesser-known parts of the Resident Evil universe.
(5/6) supposed to be released after Outrage, but that makes sense if it's a TOSE game, as they are known for their secrecy.
That said, I first heard about a Revelations 3 in 2017, & that it'd star Rebecca Chambers. I had heard in 2019 they had scanned in an Asian woman to be

Is Resident Evil Outrage canceled?
As of November 2023, no information has surfaced about Resident Evil Outrage, therefore we can confidently assume the game is canceled or has been retooled into something else.
YouTuber Nate the Hate has claimed that Resident Evil Outrage has been quietly canceled by Capcom. They also state that the reports of Outrage being a Switch game staring Rebecca Chambers, or the third chapter in the Resident Evil Revelations series, were all inaccurate.
Instead, they’ve claimed that the now-canceled Resident Evil Outrage was intended to be a multiplayer game on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
On his YouTube stream, Nate said: “Resident Evil Outrage is no longer a project. Resident Evil Outrage also was never ‘Resident Evil Switch.’ Resident Evil Outrage was a multiplayer, multiplatform game for PlayStation, Xbox, I believe PC. Resident Evil for Switch was Revelations 3. Or was supposed to be Revelations 3. The title may still be in development. The problem is it is a very elusive game. Details on it have been very difficult to come by.”
If Nate’s claims are true, then this will be the second portable RE title to be canceled, following the ill-fated Resident Evil Portable that was meant to be released on PSP many years ago. However, take all this with a pinch of salt until Capcom verifies the claims – or until the slow shambling march of time shows Nate to be correct.
