The maligned DC game from Batman: Arkham developers Rocksteady, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, has its price dropped to $49.99.
Gamestop is running a mega sale at the moment, which includes a bounty of games. One of the more notable inclusions is the recently released Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Dropping the price from $69.99 to $49.99, you can save $20 on one of 2024’s more decisive games.
The game scored a decent 3/5 in our review, with us calling it a “good time” despite all the RPG elements getting a little in the way. One top tip to make the game far more enjoyable if you take the plunge is to turn off the big numbers that pop out when you do damage.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League might not have been best received, but we’ve seen plenty of live service games pull back from the brink. Remember Destiny 1? That game stunk when it first launched and it took over a year for it to become “good”. With more updates on the horizon, it could be Suicide Squad next.
Even one of the most popular MMOs, Final Fantasy XIV had to be completely remade before it also got “good”. Sometimes jumping in early – especially with a $20 discount – can be a good call.

Suicide Squad deal sees $20 cut from price tag
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League takes place in the same universe as the Arkham games. The evil Brainiac has invaded Earth, brainwashing the entire Justice League – Batman included. It’s up to a ragtag group of villains – Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang – to save the day. By killing the Justice League.
The story is goofy fun and feels like a popcorn-munching DC storyline from the comics during the New 52 era. Catastrophic results, but not afraid to alter the status quo of the norms.
Gamestop’s sale has no end date stated, but we’d give it a good couple of weeks before it draws to a close.
