One particularly dedicated Starfield player has managed to make a near-perfect recreation of a Battlecruiser from StarCraft.
Starfield launched in late 2023, and while it might not have been the genre-defining hit that Bethesda and Xbox were hoping it would be, it’s been a big seller for dedicated RPG fans and longtime players of Bethesda games.
One of the most widely-praised parts of the game, even among its critics, was the shipbuilder, which allows for a massive amount of customization and flexibility when making the vehicle that’ll carry you through the stars.
And while the flying and travel systems in Starfield also came under some criticism for not being streamlined enough, no one can underestimate how important it is to have a cool-looking ship, even if it’s only looking cool in cutscenes,

We’ve seen a massive variety of ships come from this system, ranging from things that look like they’re straight from Star Trek, to a flying hamburger that defies all sense of aerodynamics.

However, one player might have produced the best ship yet, with a perfectly detailed model of StarCraft 1’s iconic Battlecruiser.
The Terran capital ship might not be quite at home in near-future setting of Starfield, but that didn’t stop it looking perfect in the game’s shipbuilder.
The creator of the ship explained that it had been crafted without mods, following a tutorial on YouTube that went into more detail about how to make it.
Strangely, Blizzard and Bethesda are a lot closer now, with both of the developers now being under the wing of Microsoft after the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Starfield also recently made headlines when Xbox revealed that the game, previously pitched as Xbox’s big 2023 exclusive to counter Sony’s heavy hitters, could be coming to the PS5.
