Popular Tech YouTuber Linus Sebastian has built an incredible custom Minecraft PC for fellow content creator PewDiePie in his latest challenge video on March 28.
Linus is best known as the host of popular YouTube channels such as Linus Tech Tips and TechQuickie, where he shares his wide array of knowledge on the latest tech products.
He is also known for his highly entertaining PC build challenge videos and he has returned with yet another, this time building a custom Minecraft PC for YouTube king PewDiePie.
After PewDiePie made his much-anticipated return to Minecraft in 2019, Linus revealed that he planned on surprising the YouTube star with a custom PC – although he was not sure how long it would take him to pull it off.
“We heard celebrity PC builds were the new hotness but we didn’t want to fall into the classic trap where you promise someone something really cool and then you take a freaking year to deliver it,” he explained.
Linus based the custom PC on a Creeper, one of the most deadly Minecraft mobs, even putting together a frame to match the monster’s character model.

He revealed that although they first thought of the concept a few months ago it took them quite a while on designing the creeper PC to ensure they could make use of the best hardware possible.
“The last thing you want to do is send someone a cool custom PC that ends up being a downgrade from what they are currently running,” he explained, before highlighting the steps they took to put the PC together.
Although it seemed to be quite a challenge putting all of the finishing touches on and testing the new PC, Linus managed to get it done and revealed other hidden features such as the Creeper’s head which was loaded with a spring that could be remotely triggered to imitate its explosion.
Here’s the PC’s specs:
- MB: ROG Maximus Gene XI Gene Motherboard
- CPU: Intel i9-9900KF
- GPU: EVGA Geforce RTX 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra
- RAM: 64GB G.Skill TridentZ RGB DC @ 3200MHz
- Cooler: Corsair H80i
- PSU: Silverstone SX800-LTI
- SSD: 2TB Corsair Force MP600 SSD
PewDiePie has not yet commented on the incredible work that Linus put into his PC, however, it is likely that he will make a video reacting to the gift at some point.
