An OLED iPad Pro is finally here with many new upgrades. Here’s where to buy one, how much it costs, and what features you’ll get.

OLED displays aren’t exactly breaking news in the tablet world. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 lineup already rocks these panels, while iPads have been stuck with LCDs. Apple did introduce mini-LED displays with the iPad Pro 6, but OLED remained absent from the iPad family.

That’s not the case anymore. The Cupertino company has finally unveiled the OLED iPads we’ve all been dreaming of. The new iPad Pros debut as an upgrade over 2022’s iPad Pro 6 models.

Apple uses Tandem OLED displays on the iPads for deeper blacks and a whopping 1600 nits of peak brightness. The new displays are called Ultra Retina XDR.

The iPad Pro also gets a super thin and light build. It’s claimed to be Apple’s thinnest device ever, with the 11-inch model coming in at 0.21 inches (5.3mm) and the 13-inch at just 0.20 inches (5.1mm).

Should you buy the OLED iPad Pro?

The new OLED iPad Pro packs some serious upgrades compared to current models. If you’re shopping for a new tablet, getting one of the latest iPad Pro models is a good idea.

However, the OLED iPad Pro is more suited for power users due to its higher price tag. If you’re looking for a more affordable option without needing all the bells and whistles, check out the iPad Air 6. And if you already have the latest iPad Pro, you’re probably good to stick with it for now.
