Many PC builders are anticipating the launch of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4080 Super, but some buyers have already received their cards.
The attention of PC gaming enthusiasts and industry analysts has been focused on Nvidia for the past week in anticipation of the release of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4080 Super, which is due in a few short days. However, it seems that some lucky users have already got hold of these anticipated cards.
According to WCCFTech, some users have managed to get hold of RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4080 cards a bit early. Though many would call these users lucky, there is a drawback that prevents these users from enjoying their news cards – the drivers are not yet available.
RTX 4080 Super breaks street date
One user on a Facebook group dedicated to building PCs showed off pictures of a newly acquired Asus GeForce RTX 4080 Super ROG Strix. Though the card appears to be legitimate, as it was properly packaged in the correct box some eagle-eyed commenters noted that it lacked the serial number that is placed on the packaging. This suggested to some that the card may have been obtained using less-than-legal means.

Similarly, a user on the Nvidia Subreddit posted a picture of a PNY GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, which arrived two days ahead of its official launch date. The graphics card was still in its official packaging, and the user then went ahead and installed the GPU, even showing off its scores in benchmarking software like Cinebench.
In both of these cases, the users were keen to obtain the drivers for the GPUs, but unfortunately, they were out of luck, as the drivers will not be available until the official release date, so until then these graphics cards are little more than expensive paperweights.
