A TikTok product lead has revealed that they are set to release a “redesigned” app for the upcoming Apple Vision Pro headset.
Preorders for the Apple Vision Pro headset went live on January 19, 2024, and customers flocked to the website to make their orders.
The company is estimated to have sold over 160,000 units at preorder, and since then, the talk has been about which apps and how much different content will be available on the device at launch.
Several TikTok employees have revealed that they have “redesigned” the app experience for Apple’s first VR/AR headset.

On January 22, 2024, TikTok employee Greg Feingold confirmed the app’s existence and shared a screenshot from the company’s product lead, Ahmad Zahran.

“I’ve received a few questions about this… yes, we built a new version of the TikTok app for Apple Vision Pro,” Greg said.
In the screenshot, Zahran explained that they’ve redesigned the experience entirely. He said: “While many app developers have ditched the Apple Vision Pro, my team has redesigned the entire TikTok experience from the ground up in less than three months.”
Although they’ve confirmed that the headset app does exist, neither employee was able to share screenshots of it in action — leaving many wondering what the new design looks like.
Zahran says he’ll share details in the “coming weeks,” so we’ll just have to wait to see how they’ve optimized TikTok for the Apple Vision Pro.
