If you have ever wished you could ride around on a Miraidon motorcycle just like in Pokemon: Violet, then your dreams might just have become reality thanks to Toyota.
According to a press release, a volunteer group at Toyota Motor Corporation has been working on a project to create a real-life version of Miraidon, the Pokemon that acts as your mode of transportation throughout Pokemon: Violet.
The group is named the Toyota Engineering Society, and they have created what looks to be a remarkably accurate recreation of Miraidon, right down to the glowing eyes that act like headlights.
It is unknown at this point if the motorcycle is intended for sale, or if it is more akin to a concept bike, or even a static proof-of-concept or art piece.
Pokemon bike will be unveiled at WakuWaku World
Toyota is planning to properly unveil the Miraidon bike at WakuWaku World, a Toyota-sponsored event held in Toyota City on Sunday, November 26, 2024. The project does appear to have been made with the full approval of Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokemon Company, but it is not clear if those companies will have any presence at the unveiling event.

Fans of Pokemon on Reddit were greatly impressed by the preliminary photos of the Miraidon bike. Several users commented hoping that the bike would eventually be made available for sale, with some even indicating they would attempt to acquire a motorcycle license for the specific purpose of riding this particular bike, such as RougeNargacuga who said: “I wonder if this is an actual product we will be able to buy? Will definitely need to get my bike license if so.”
Other users wondered if it would be electric or run on gas, though user CatFoundWatermelons cheekily said: “It should be run on sandwiches.”
Some were disappointed that Koriadon was neglected, but others rightly pointed out that Koriadon would be hard to make a bike out of since he doesn’t use wheels.
