TikToker and food content creator Jelly Bean Sweets has gone viral for sharing her many mukbangs online, but some fans fear her health after she ditched dancing videos to eat pounds of food in one sitting.
Food content on TikTok has become a place for viewers who enjoy learning about fast food hacks, the latest grocery store deals, and the newest recipes.
Mukbangs, where foodies inhale as many calories as possible, have grown in popularity, as some TikTokers will eat up to 10 pounds in one sitting.
TikToker Jelly Bean Sweets, who has 1.2 million followers, is a prime example of an all-around food content creator.
While she doesn’t share new recipes or hacks, she does engage in mukbangs where she’ll eat a large order from a fast food chain like McDonald’s or Taco Bell.
There’s usually a bunch of dipping sauces, smeared stains, and a whole lot of chewing in her viral videos.
However, Jelly Bean Sweets has faced some backlash for her food content, as some viewers feel sympathy for her weight gain in such a short time.
“This makes me so sad,” commented one viewer of her first-ever mukbang.

And after mukbanger Pan Xiaoting died from eating 22 pounds on July 14, fans of Jelly Bean Sweets went to bat for her health.
“You don’t have to make money like this,” someone pleaded on TikTok. The supporter also shared a video of Jelly Bean Sweets when she used to upload dancing videos instead of food content.
“It’s sad that she’s doing this to herself just to be loved and viewed by TikTok,” commented a viewer.
Jelly Bean Sweets has also been accused of creating “feeder content,” which comes from the obsession one has with feeding people food and watching others eat. Those who indulge in the content often enjoy seeing people get fat and want to be part of their weight-gaining journey.
“This girl is clearly being targeted by [feeder content],” a TikToker suggested in a viral rant where he presented his concerns for Jelly Bean Sweets. He also compared her to Nicocado Avocado, who sparked death rumors after he didn’t share a mukbang on YouTube for at least two weeks.
Though Jelly Bean Sweets has faced backlash for her food content, she doesn’t seem to want to slow down in the slightest, as her TikToks continue to gain millions of views.
