2024 is shaping up to be a great year for fans of the small screen, with three of the biggest TV shows all returning in the same month.
Last year’s TV landscape kept small-screen audiences truly well-fed. With The Last of Us knocking its premiere season out of the park and incredible finales for both Succession and Barry, it seemed things couldn’t get much better.
But 2024 is lining up to be a pretty incredible year, too. And what’s more, everyone’s favorite shows will all be landing at the same time.
Thanks to some mental calculation, it seems as though three of the most popular shows right now will all release in the same month this year, meaning that the summer of 2024 will be a great one to stay indoors.
2024’s three biggest TV shows will drop in June
Three of the most anticipated TV shows in 2024 — The Boys Season 4, The Bear Season 3, and House of the Dragon Season 2 — will all arrive in June.
The Boys will be landing on June 13, with The Bear’s exact June premiere date to be confirmed. The release date for House of Dragon is still up in the air, but Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said in February 2024 that Season 2 would be arriving “next quarter”, meaning April-June.

“Looking ahead, we’ve got one of the best lineups in the history of HBO,” he said [via The Hollywood Reporter]. “This next quarter, we’ll have Hacks and House of the Dragon, followed by DC’s The Penguin and the new Dune series.”
With the summer always being the set release period for House of the Dragon Season 2, it’s very likely that it’ll land in June.
The Bear has just come off an incredible awards run, winning three Golden Globes and six Emmy awards. Essentially, the buzz for Carmy and his crew has never been bigger. Meanwhile, The Boys is returning for its long-awaited fourth season, with interest renewed thanks to the well-received spinoff series, Gen V.
Elsewhere, House of the Dragon earned back fan loyalty after the original series ended on a dud note. And with Season 1 ending on a major cliffhanger, needless to say, everyone’s ready to jump straight back in.
