New movies to stream on Netflix
January is a mixed bag for Netflix, but there are some very exciting additions here. We’d suggest kicking off with Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl for the family, and following up with Back in Action for a bit of fun.
Back in Action stars Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz as a couple who once gave up their high-speed life as CIA spies to raise a family. But when their cover is blown, they have to pick up their weapons once more.

What’s on Disney Plus in January 2025?
Unfortunately, Disney+ doesn’t have any new movies coming to the platform this month. Instead, the streamer is far more focused on the TV front, with new episodes of Skeleton Crew, plus the premiere of Goosebumps: The Vanishing on January 10 and Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man on January 29.

New movies to stream on Prime Video in January
Prime has a handful of new releases on the platform this month, including You’re Cordially Invited, an upcoming comedy with Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon.
It’s a wedding comedy in a classic sense, with a father and his bride-to-be daughter discovering that her dream wedding venue has been double booked by another bride and her wedding-planner sister.

What’s new on Peacock
Unfortunately, Peacock isn’t adding any new original movies to the platform in January. Instead, they’ve got a slate of exciting TV specials and new dramas, including Lockerbie: A Search for Truth and The Traitors Season 3.
New on Hulu in January
Once again, there are no new movies coming to Hulu this month. There’s a whole slate of classic flicks joining the platform, however, and there are a few 2024 releases coming to the streamer, including Mother’s Instinct and My Penguin Friend.
What’s on Apple TV+ this month?
No new movies on Apple TV+ this month, but there are plenty of great shows joining the platform. For example, Severance Season 2 is finally arriving on January 17, hopefully bringing some answers to those questions we’ve been asking since 2022!
