Lindsey Lohan has confirmed that she will reunite with Jamie Lee Curtis in a Freaky Friday sequel over 20 years on from the release of the original.
After taking time off from acting, Lindsey Lohan is back on screens, starring in new shows as well as making cameo appearances in the likes of Mean Girls: The Musical movie which was released at the start of 2024.
Lohan broke into the acting world as a child, starring in hits such as Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, and the Parent Trap throughout her younger years. With her return to acting, fans have been pushing for Lohan to reunite with her old co-star, Jamie Lee Curtis one of the most discussed names on the list.
After months of teasing a Freaky Friday sequel, Lohan has now confirmed that the two actors will return over 20 years after the first film was released.
The original Freaky Friday film won over the hearts of fans, with Lohan and Curtis boasting great on-screen chemistry as a mother and daughter who find themselves swapped into each other’s bodies.
The two have to pretend to be the other person and in turn, develop a greater sense of understanding for the other while also making for a great comedy experience for fans.

In a new interview with People Magazine, Lohan confirmed that a Freaky Friday sequel is in the works, telling the outlet that the new sequel is “in the process.”
Lohan also added that she is excited to star alongside Curtis once again and that the two talk regularly now that the sequel is going ahead.
“We talk almost every other day in general, so I think we’re going to have a lot of fun with this,” Lohan said about reuniting with her Freaky Friday co-star to “see how much further” they can take it.
