Is there a Gears of War Netflix movie cast?

As the movie is in the early stages of pre-production, a roster of cast members has yet to be announced.

However, this hasn’t stopped fans of the franchise from fan-casting their own choices. Even the franchise’s creator, Cliff Bleszinski, is a fan of casting Dave Bautista as Marcus Fenix.

The movie will be penned by Jon Spaihts, the screenwriter behind Denis Villeneuve’s Dune as well as Prometheus and Doctor Strange.

“Gears of War is one of the all-time great action games, with vivid characters, a beautifully designed world and a combat system that drives home the lethality of war and the importance of standing by your squadmate. It wants to be cinema, and I’m thrilled to have the chance to help that happen,” he told Tudum.
