The polarizing release of Joker: Folie à Deux has been and gone, and if you missed the musical mess in theaters, there’s a way you can now watch it on digital.
Joker: Folie à Deux made some changes to Arthur’s world. Not only did Harley Quinn enter Arkham to steal his heart (and his sanity), but the new movie shook things up by shifting into musical mode.
Much like the original Todd Phillips flick, Joker 2 was a divisive release. With a 32% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a shock genre twist, it’s safe to say this wasn’t what anyone expected (or wanted, for that matter).
Intriguing stuff, but how can you watch it all? Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch Joker 2, including details on streaming services.
How to watch Joker: Folie à Deux
Joker: Folie à Deux is still playing in theaters, but now you can now buy or rent it on digital platforms in the US.
As of October 29, US audiences can buy the movie on Amazon Prime Video for $24.99. If you’re looking to rent, it’ll cost $19.99. It’ll also be available for digital download on Apple TV, Vudu, and more.
That’s less than a month after its theatrical release. Of course, the Joker 2 box office numbers weren’t so impressive at the beginning, and with Venom 3 taking over the comic book slot, it seems as though Warner Bros have pushed to get this out.
For comparison, the first Joker movie was released in October 2019, and didn’t come onto streaming until May 2020.
Joker 2 UK digital release
Joker 2 will be released digitally in the UK on November 4, 2024.
That’ll be on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+ also. (You can also pre-order on Prime Video, iTunes and Microsoft Store.)

Joker 2 streaming details
There’s one streaming service that Joker: Folie à Deux will reliably land on first: Max.
This is where the first Joker movie went when it made its streaming debut, and since this is where the majority of Warner Bros. movies end up (including the DC movies), this is a safe bet.
Of course, as above, you can skip the wait and buy or rent Joker 2 on digital platforms.
Where to stream the first movie
If you want to revisit the original 2019 Joker movie, then as above, you’ll need to head to Max.
If you’re not signed up to the platform, you can rent the movie on Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video for $3.99. Or, to buy, that’ll set you back $7.99 on both services.
It’s worth checking out the first movie, since Joker: Folie à Deux takes place two years afterwards, during Arthur Fleck’s murder trial and imprisonment in Arkham Asylum.
