From an incredible survival story to a revisit of the JonBenét Ramsey case, here’s your guide to the new documentaries hitting Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, Max, and more in November 2024.
It’s safe to say the Menendez brothers dominated the chat within the true crime community after the release of Ryan Murphy’s Monsters in September, causing uproar online due to its handling of the infamous case.
But, over the past month, focus turned to Anna Kendrick’s nuanced approach to the genre with her directorial debut, Woman of the Hour. There were also a number of popular releases related to catfishing scandals, including Sweet Bobby and Fanatical.
While Netflix continues to be the best streaming service for true crime, all platforms have something unique to offer, with plenty of real-life stories and shows making their streaming debut. So, here’s a rundown of all the new documentaries and true crime shows to mark in your calendar.
