As a fresh month begins, a slew of captivating K-dramas awaits eager viewers, offering a plethora of enticing options to add to their must-watch list. With March unveiling a diverse array of dramas, fans are bound to find themselves deeply immersed in captivating stories.
February ended with a bang with the release of Disney+’s The Impossible Heir. Fans clung to the exciting thriller of Netflix’s A Killer Paradox and are enjoying a well-deserved rom-com with Wedding Impossible. With a long list of K-dramas slated for 2024, March is another month to keep tabs on.
The month will have some long-awaited Netflix storylines like Queen of Tears. The K-drama that has gained global intrigue – Chicken Nugget– is also worth mentioning. Who wouldn’t want to see a K-drama about trying to turn your daughter back from being a delicious nugget?

An investigative reporter and host finds herself being accused of murder and joins forces with a detective to uncover the truth.
Seo Jung-won (Kim Ha-neul) gained popularity for her work as an investigative journalist. As well as the host of a current affairs series called Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar that exposes the truth behind culprits of crimes.
Her career is flourishing and she lives a good life married to her wealthy husband. But everything changes when her husband’s mistress suddenly dies. She’s distraught over the affair but also becomes one of the main suspects in the case. Jung-won finds an ally in detective Kim Tae-heon (Yeon Woo-jin) who helps her uncover the truth.
The K-drama will have a total of 16 episodes on KBS2.

Her neighbor Ha Yeon-joo (Lee Chung-ah) and a mysterious man, Do Jin-woo (Lee Min-jae), might be the key to unraveling the mystery.

A lonesome photographer runs a photo studio that caters to the dead and crosses paths with a lawyer who values justice.
Seo Ki-joo (Joo Won) has been running the family store for generations. While seemingly normal on the outside, the Ki-joo takes photos of ghosts who are trapped in between realms and unable to move on. His photos give them some peace as he listens to their stories.
He soon meets Han Bom (Kwon Na-ra). She’s a devoted lawyer who can’t stand injustice and partners with Ki-joo. Together they find a way to get the trapped ghosts to the other side. The March K-drama also has a flourishing romance.
Midnight Photo Studio will have 16 episodes and premiere on ENA.

A fallen from grace actor begins to fall in love with a rookie producer as he helps her regain her fame.
Park Do-ra (Im Soo-hyang) was an A-list actor until an incident derailed her career and had her hit rock bottom. She meets Go Pil-deung (Ji Hyun-woo) who is a rookie drama series producer. The two embark on a journey of romance as Pil-deung tries to get Do-ra back to her former glory.
Beauty and the Devoted is speculated to have a long run with 50 episodes and premiere on KBS2.
Queen of Tears

A third-generation chaebol finds herself re-falling in love with her husband, a legal director of their company.
Get ready for a unique take on romance with tvN’s and Netflix’s Queen of Tears. Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) is a third-generation chaebol of Queen’s Group. She’s known as being arrogant and runs their family’s department store. Instead of newfound love, Queen of Tears focuses on rekindling romance.
Hae-in is married to Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun), a top legal director of the company. He’s the pride and joy of his hometown for his success. Their marriage goes through a crisis with Hae-in seeing her husband in a new light.

Wonderful World

A famed psychology professor’s life unravels with the unjust death of her son. While seeking justice, she’s led to others suffering the same pain.
Eun Soo-hyun (Kim Nam-joo) is well known for her work as a psychology professor and novelist. Her perfect world is shattered when her son is unjustly killed and the perps get away with it. She decides to seek her own justice for losing her son but finds herself even more hopeless.
Somehow, Soo-hyun gets involved with other people who have suffered the same pain and help each other heal. All the while helping solve their mysteries and meeting Kwon Sun-yool (Cha Eun-woo).
Wonderful World will stream on Disney+.
Chicken Nugget

A father and his employee work diligently to save his daughter who was turned into delicious chicken nuggets.
Netflix’s standout K-drama for March will be Chicken Nugget based on an original webtoon. The K-drama focuses on Choi Sun-man (Ryu Seung-ryong) who runs a small machienry business. One day, an unknown machine arrives at the store. Sun-man’s daughter pays a visit with fried chicken and enters the machine.
Believing it to help relieve her fatigue, she turns it on and miraculously turns into a chicken nugget. Go Baek-joong (Ahn Jae-hong) helps his boss figure out how to save her as he also has a one-sided crush on her.
