After an expected win at the SAG Awards, Pedro Pascal revealed the hilarious way he planned on celebrating which involved Kieran Culkin.
At long last, it seems like Pedro Pascal is finally getting some recognition for his work as Joel on HBO’s hit series The Last of Us.
Based on the video game series of the same name, Pascal plays Joel, a gruff man in an apocalypse filled with zombie-like creatures alongside a sassy young girl (Bella Ramsey) who could hold the key to save humanity.
While Pascal has been nominated for his performance in the show’s first season, he hasn’t won any major awards until last night, where he seemed stun to win his SAG Award and hilariously divulged how he was going to celebrate his win with friend and fellow actor Kieran Culkin.
Pascal’s SAG win including a hopeful wish involving Culkin
The actor won the SAG Award for male actor in a drama series, which came as a bit of a shock to him as he thought he would lost to Culkin, as the Succession star had won an Emmy and Golden Globe in the same category earlier this year.
“This is wrong for so many reasons,” Pascal said in his acceptance speech, “I’m a little drunk. I thought I could get drunk. I’m making a fool of myself but thank you so much for this! I’ve been in the union since 1999 so this is an incredible fucking honor. To the nominees, all of you, I can’t remember any of your names right now.”

Queer Eye’s Tan France caught up with Pascal right after his win where he asked how he was badly he was going to “rag” Culkin at the SAG after party to which the actor responded, “I’m going to make out with Kieran. That’ll be my revenge.”
Pascal and Culkin have been having a bit of a joke feud during this award season, which began when Culkin took home the Golden Globe in their category and told Pascal to “suck it” in his acceptance speech.
The Last of Us actor ramped things up two weeks later during the Emmys where he claimed Culkin “beat the sh*t” out of him and that’s why he had his arm in a sling during both ceremonies.
But now it seems like the battle of the actors is over as the two were photographed laughing together backstage by Culkin’s wife Jazz Charton, who thanked Pascal for “humbling” her husband.
