Amazon’s streaming service doesn’t have a great deal of TV releases in store for January, but the return of lighthearted comedy series Harlem is certainly an exciting drop for fans.
The British supernatural thriller television series The Rig is also in its comeback era, with all six episodes of Season 2 dropping at once.

Where are my Sherlock fans at? If you want to see a new iteration of Holmes’ trusted pal Dr. John Watson, be sure to check out the new series, which sees Morris Chestnut take on the titular role.
Just keep in mind that Watson premieres on January 26, 2025, after the AFC Championship Game, before following a weekly episode release schedule starting from February 16.

It’s not the only DC content coming to the platform, however, as Harley Quinn’s fifth chapter will also debut on January 16, with new episodes dropping weekly until March 20.

Yes, Prime Target looks like a great new thriller series (especially with Leo Woodall and Quintessa Swindell leading the cast). But let’s face it – we’re all here for Severance Season 2.
Following what’s felt like the longest three years in TV history, the workplace sci-fi show’s return is undoubtedly the most hyped release of January – if not of 2025 overall.
