Adin Ross has claimed he is getting his permaban on Twitch reversed at some point in 2024 as the growing trend of overturning bans continues.
Getting hit with a permaban on Twitch is one of the most devastating punishments a streamer can get, as not only does it completely ban you from streaming on the site, it even bans you from appearing on a Twitch stream entirely.
Many content creators who were permabanned have gone on to different platforms and thrived, however not all are as successful. Adin Ross is one in the former camp, with his fanbase joining him through his move to Kick.
Now as talks of permabanned streamers having their bans reversed by Twitch comes up again, Adin has claimed that he is getting unbanned from the platform at some point in 2024.
During an IRL stream on Adin’s Kick channel, xQc asked the streamer if he was unbanned from Twitch yet, to which Adin gave an emphatic no, however, revealed that he was “working on it”.

He would go on to address the stream and say, “Chat, I will be unbanned on Twitch at some point this year, 2024. I ain’t gonna lie, I’m excited bro.”
As for when exactly in 2024 he would be unbanned, if it ever comes true, is unclear as he didn’t give any concrete dates other than some point in the year.
Reversals of permabans from Twitch are rare, with the last notable reversal being IShowSpeed whose Twitch unban happened in October 2023 after talks with Twitch’s CEO. However, the social media celeb has yet to return to the platform.
Twitch’s CEO Dan Clancy revealed that they are looking into giving permabanned streamers “another chance” in late 2023, though said they were still looking into how to make it scalable for both big and small streamers.
