The 2024 Valorant esports season has ended as Valorant Champions has come to an end. These are the best players in professional Valorant from across the entire season.
The 2024 Valorant esports season saw new players on teams like Gen.G, Team Heretics, EDward Gaming, and Sentinels vault to the top of the professional Valorant totem pole with consistent domestic and major tournament success.
While some of the best players in the world might miss out on a tournament or two, the cream of the crop in pro Valorant must have attended VCT Masters Madrid, Masters Shanghai, and Valorant Champions.
This list ranks these players primarily on international tournament performance and statistics, however, other major factors like their impact on team success and role have been considered.
Below are the average statistics of the top players across their major tournament showings and our reasoning for why these players are the best in the world.

10 | f0rsaken | 195.6 | 0.7 | 0.95 | 128.1 |

8 | T3ture | 236 | 0.83 | 1.15 | 150 |

10. f0rsaken
Paper Rex’s forsaken is one of the most versatile players in the world as he still manages to put up better-than-average stats despite playing four different agent roles across the 2024 season.
His average statistics are close to EDward Gaming’s CHICHOO, but he did not have an early-season slump like his Chinese counterpart and was a consistent player across all three major VCT events. Paper Rex has some incredible stars in its lineup, but none are as consistent, or important, as f0rsaken is to the team’s success.
9. t3ture
Gen.G and t3xture dominated most of the other Valorant squads in 2024, making the Masters Madrid Grand Final and winning the Shanghai trophy. However, the team’s excellent run ended with a group-stage elimination at Champions.
T3xture was still a top Duelist even in their bad matches and ranks in the top five in average ACS, KPR, and K/D on this list. The South Korean player is one of the top Duelists in the world, but Gen.G’s early elimination at the World Championship prevented him from moving higher up the list.
8. Meteor
Meteor transitioned to playing the Sentinel role this year, with some Duelist picks sprinkled in, and ended the season with stats similar to top entry players. His 234 average ACS is on par with his teammate t3xture and Leviatán’s aspas. His KPR is only beaten on this list by ZmjjKK and Derke.
The South Korean player became Gen.G’s reliable anchor, who wasn’t afraid to move ahead of his abilities and hunt enemies. The only reason he isn’t higher on this list is because of his team’s late-season collapse at Valorant Champions, but he does have a Masters trophy to his name.
7. Wo0T
Team Heretics has some hiccups around its roster for both Masters events, with Wo0t missing out on attending Madrid. However, he made up for it by subbing for the team as a Duelist at Shanghai and continued to showcase his skills in his main role at Champions.
His average stats are a little boosted because of his role switch for one event, but his ability to perform at a high level on two different agent classes makes him a top player in 2024.
6. aspas
The Brazilian Duelist put together another amazing season and was voted the VCT MVP of 2024 for his play across the circuit with Leviatán. aspas didn’t start hot, however, missing Masters Madrid and then bombing out of Shanghai in the group stage.
His stats did not suffer during that time though, keeping up with the other top Duelists like zekken and ZmjjKK.
5. zekken
Across the entire field of players at the 2024 World Championship, zekken was top five in Average Combat Score, Average Damage Per Round, and Kills Per Round. He also finished top three in first kills to first deaths in the event at 0.20 to 0.18 respectively.

On top of putting his team ahead most of the time after winning the first fight of the round, zekken also had a 27% clutch rate meaning he also helped Sentinels win rounds across multiple stages.
Across the entire year, zekken was second only to Derke in terms of average stats. However, his team failed to make Masters Shanghai, which knocked him back a few places.
4. Derke
Fnatic and Derke won both EMEA Stages in 2024 and placed in the top eight at Masters Shanghai and Valorant Champions 2024. However, the Swedish sniper’s statistical dominance at the World Championship and over the 2024 season is what really put him on this list.
Derke was the top player in ACS, Kill/ Death ratio, and Kills Per Round at Champions. He averaged almost one kill a round and tied zekken in clutch rate at 27%. The Duelist player also had some of the highest average stats of any player on this list.
Despite Derke’s incredible play on stage, Fnatic failed to advance deep in the playoff stage at either tournament, the team also didn’t qualify for Madrid, making it hard to put him higher up on this list.
3. CHICHOO
CHICHOO climbed into the top five players in the world largely off of his incredible form at Champions. The Chinese player averaged 217.9 ACS across the event, bringing his average across the year to 192.2.
These numbers were better than some Duelists, all while playing Controllers and Sentinels.
The Chinese player also had a 73% success rate in first duels on Attack at Champions, despite playing agents that don’t give him much to work with for escaping fights. CHICHOO is the anchor of EDG and has been one of the team’s strongest players when it mattered most during the end of the season.
2. RieNs
Team Heretics has the most exciting five-man squad in the world, and RieNs is the second player to cement himself on this list. He set himself apart from the rest of his team thanks to his fragging ability in a role that doesn’t usually get that many kills.
Playing mostly Sova, Gekko, and Viper, the Turkish talent claimed over 20% of his team’s kills across Valorant Champions. In the playoff stage, he was top 10 in ACS, K/D, and ADR.
Over the entire year, RieNs only got better as the circuit went on and ended the season with a top-five K/D of the players included on this list.
1. ZmjjKK
ZmjjKK has always been a top player, but he really showed it at Valorant Champions 2024 after putting together some decent runs at Masters Madrid and Shanghai. The Chinese Duelist finished top five at the World Championship in ACS, ADR, and KPR.
But what really set ZmjjKK ahead of everyone at Valorant Champions was his first-kill success rate of 0.24, which was 0.2 above the next-best player. The Duelist player also takes more fights than almost anyone at the tournament, meaning he is No. 1 in volume and efficiency.
He was beaten out in average stats across the board by zekken and Derke, however, he was the only player in that bunch to walk away with a world title under his belt. EDG has other stellar players to back him up, but ZmjjKK was clearly the best player on the best team in the world.
With the 2024 VCT season concluded, the action will now unfold during rostermania as even players on this list are set for blockbuster moves to new teams for 2025.
