World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery has rolled out another set of hotfixes and, although relatively minor, there are some important changes to various elements of the game.
Season of Discovery has been defined by the regular attention the developer has paid to the game’s details. Additionally, communication between the team behind the game and the community at large has been remarkably clear.
A major part of that has been regular hotfixes designed to address issues when they arise. These cover everything from class changes, to dungeon updates and unexpected interactions. Arriving anywhere between once or twice a week, they vary significantly in scope.
The latest set of changes is relatively small but here’s everything there is to know.

WoW: Season of Discovery hotfixes for February 26
Most of the hotfixes listed are related to individual abilities or NPCs. Chiefly, the Hyperconductive Caster Set had been experiencing a number of unexpected bugs that were limiting its effectiveness. The full list of changes is as follows:
- Hyperconductive Caster Set’s 3-piece bonus now works correctly with healing and damaging runes.
- Chronostatic Preservation duration increased to 20 seconds (was 15 seconds), and now works with mouseover macros.
- Drained of Blood will now periodically remove debilitating effects that are still affecting the player.
- Additional Chained Spirit graveyards and patrols have been added during the Blood Moon event.
- Fixed an issue with Lesser Arcane Elixir that caused it to not be usable at the required level on the tooltip.
- Kha’damu’s Blood Craze will no longer increase his damage dealt.
- Hunter
- Chimera Shot no longer extends the duration of Wyvern Sting’s periodic damage.
- Developers’ notes: That interaction was never intended.
- Chimera Shot no longer extends the duration of Wyvern Sting’s periodic damage.
- Rogue
- Between the Eyes no longer shares a cooldown with ranged attacks.
Hunters may be unhappy at the removal of the unexpected interaction between Chimera Shot and Wyvern Sting but Rogues can enjoy their minor buff in the meantime. That’s the complete list of changes in this round of hotfixes for Season of Discovery.
