One of the more outlandish additions to the game in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is Dragonriding races. Now, Blizzard has confirmed the Outland Cup, added as part of the Seeds of Renewal Patch 10.2.5.
Though many may consider it a bit silly, the Outland Cup is a bespoke event that aims to take advantage of the dynamic flying systems present in the latest expansion. It might be more Mario Kart than WoW but there is plenty for players to enjoy and rewards to make it worthwhile.
Taking place between January 18-31, this World Event will task players with racing against the clock, all in the “welcoming” skies of Outland. Even players who haven’t yet unlocked Dragonriding can compete using loaned mounts.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Outland Cup.
