YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI have faced criticism after Prime Hydration has became the first official mat sponsor of the WWE.
KSI and Logan Paul have faced backlash after Prime Hydration partnered with the WWE, which will see a Prime bottle be the center ring sponsor of every WWE PLE beginning at WrestleMania XL.
Logan Paul took to the ring at SmackDown on March 8 to announce the partnership, which is the biggest in WWE history. However, fans have been hitting out, calling the sponsor a complete “eyesore” to look at.
Fans criticize “tacky” Prime WWE partnership
Following KSI and Logan Paul’s big announcement with the WWE, which led to KSI getting RKO’d out of nowhere by Randy Orton himself, fans have criticized the partnership.
“This has to be a joke right?” One responded on social media, as various others chimed in. “Don’t ruin the canvas that the performers create art in.”
Another slammed it, “It’s a disgusting eye-sore that’s going to ruin great moments,” they said.

“This is absolutely awful,” wrote another. “Not everything needs to be a marketing billboard.”
Others claimed they’re fine with product placement as a whole, but the issue was over it being a main focal point in the ring. “It being right in the middle looks so ugly,” one wrote. “That looks so tacky,” said another, adding a crying emoji.
On top of signing with the WWE, Prime has made waves in the sporting world — partnering with the likes of NFL star Patrick Mahomes, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, and becoming the official drink of the UFC too.
Prime isn’t slowing down anytime soon, having topped Walmart’s sales for the most sold sports and hydration beverage in the first month of 2024.
