Following the launch of the Iron Crown Collection event in Apex Legends, leaks for unreleased legends have been coming thick and fast, with the latest revealing all abilities for ‘Immortal’, a shield support character.
Currently, there is only one true ‘support’ legend in Apex Legends, the ever-helpful ‘Lifeline’, who can use her D.O.C drone to heal herself and teammates, as well as revive teammates faster with the help of a shield.
However, Lifeline can’t do anything for depleted shields, only flesh damage, and so it looks like this leaked legend, Immortal, would be the character for that.
Once again, credit for this find goes to reputable data miner That1MiningGuy, who has uncovered and explained numerous leaked legends, including Jericho and Rampart.
Although we know the names and abilities of seven unreleased legends in total, it’s still most likely that Crypto will be added to the game next, probably alongside the launch of Season 3.
But, it’s still fun to check out the other characters and their abilities and look forward to their addition at some point in the future. That1MiningGuy fully explains Immortal in his video:

What are Immortal’s abilities in Apex Legends?
According to the leaked game files, Immortal’s abilities are as follows – note that the character is still in development, and so all of this is subject to change.
- Passive: Hard to Kill – When you get downed you can revive yourself.
- Tactical: Shield Charger / Teardown – Unleash a cloud of Nanites to charge your team’s shields OR Hit a target with a cloud of nanites to kill their shields for a short period of time.
- Ultimate: Rise of the Pheonix – Restores your health and shields to full and gives nearby teammates 30 seconds of self-revive. Takes 8 seconds to charge.
Although some of these abilities seem extremely powerful on paper, especially the passive ability allowing Immortal to self-revive when downed, players would presumably always ‘thirst’ a downed Immortal player for this reason.
Similarly, the Ultimate ability, Rise of the Pheonix, does seem strong, but the eight-second charge time should give enemies enough time to pounce and take down a team using the ability.
Unfortunately, Immortal is one of the least developed characters in the game files, according to That1MiningGuy, so it might be some time before he’s added to the game officially.
As mentioned, Crypto is almost certainly up next, likely followed by Rosie and Nomad, but with only one support legend (Lifeline) currently in the mix, the addition of Immortal might be fast-tracked.
