North American esports organization FaZe Clan have called upon a former player to complete their Call of Duty team for the upcoming Black Ops 4 season.
Anthony ‘Methodz’ Zinni, who was most recently with OpTic Gaming, has joined the FaZe roster that includes Thomas ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto, Dillon ‘Attach’ Price, James ‘Replays’ Crowder and Preston ‘Priestahh’ Greiner – one of the few rosters in competitive CoD that had not made any changes since forming at the start of the WWII season.
This roster move was announced on October 8 via a post on the FaZe Clan official Twitter page, which also included a highlight montage of Methodz’s best plays from this past season.
“I’m beyond excited to be home,” Methodz tweeted after the news had broken.

Having been competing in Call of Duty since 2012, Methodz enjoyed two separate stints with FaZe Clan during 2013 and 2014.

His best placing during that time came at the MLG Spring Championship 2013, where he, Heist, Replays, and MBoZe placed 5-6th, winning $2,300.
Methodz played for several teams during the WWII season, including Next Threat, Rise Nation, and Team Kaliber, before finishing out the season with OpTic Gaming.
However, after OpTic’s disastrous placing at the 2018 CWL Championship, it was clear that Methodz was on his way out as the team began its major revamp.
His move to FaZe does not come as a major surprise, especially since Dexerto had reported the move several days prior, based on the reports of several reliable sources.
