The second major tournament of the CWL season came to a close on March 17 as Luminosity Gaming were crowned champions of the $325,000 CWL Fort Worth Pro Tournament.
Luminosity defeated Splyce in the Grand Final in 3-1 fashion, capping off an incredible Winners Bracket run that saw them drop only four maps in four series.
Having defeated Splyce already in the Winners Bracket final, LG needed to only win this one series to secure the championship, whereas Splyce needed to win two.
CWL Fort Worth Grand Final Recap and Highlights
Despite having had to wait for the Losers Bracket final to commence, LG came out hot in game one of the Grand Final, taking care of the Frequency Hardpoint 250-160.
FormaL was fired up after the win, as his 29 enemies killed in action led the pace for LG.

The second match very much took after the first, as LG comfortably took care of the Arsenal Search and Destroy 6-3, thanks to some strong Tempest play by, you guessed it, FormaL.

Unfortunately for Splyce, they were unable to replicate the reverse sweep they pulled off against Team Reciprocity in the Losers Final, as LG took care of the Hacienda Hardpoint and secure their first tournament victory of Black Ops 4.
