Veteran Call of Duty pro player Joshua Lee ‘Joshh’ Sheppard has declared free agency ahead of the Black Ops 4 CWL season.
The longtime EU competitor is the second Splyce player to leave the org in as many days, with former teammate ‘MadCat’ announcing his departure the day before.
Joshh announced that he is no longer a member of Splyce via a tweet he posted on August 24.
I’m no longer apart of @Splyce, it’s been a disappointing few months but the situation was never ideal for anyone involved.I wish them all the best especially the players @Bance, @jurd and @MadCat, I’m excited to get back playing at a new home with a new challenge.
Joshh joined Splyce from Red Reserve during the May roster change window, marking the second time he had played for the org after a long, two year stint from 2015-2017.

However, his arrival did not do much to help improve Splyce’s results, as the team failed to place higher than top-12 in the three events since the roster change, including a poor 17-24 placing at CWL Champs.
While Joshh will likely have some suitors this off-season, he may find it difficult to join a team that could qualify for the Pro League.
Splyce will also need to do some heavy recruiting of their own, as their roster now consists of only Ben ‘Bance’ Bance and Jordan ‘Jurd’ Crowley.
