Logan Paul fires back at KSI over controversy surrounding boxing rematch

With 2019 officially underway, one of the hottest topics has surrounded the upcoming boxing rematch between YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI.

While rumors had seemingly pointed to the rematch being held near the end of February, KSI debunked them by confirming that the fight would not be happening next month and that it would instead be in November 2019.

KSI even stated that Logan Paul and his team were the ones holding up the proceedings since they were the ones making most of the decisions given the rematch will be held in the United States.

Unsurprisingly, however, Paul doesn’t agree with that assessment at all and has gone on record with a vastly different retelling of the situation.

Paul was interviewed by TMZ Sports where he told reporters that not only did he try to set the fight for this past December, but Paul also doubled down on his allegation that KSI broke their contract.

“He already broke the contract. It was supposed to happen in February,” Paul said of their highly-anticipated rematch. “He already broke that shit.”

The assertion that Paul actually tried to set up the fight for December 2018 is a new development that will surely get some sort of response out of KSI.

KSI and Logan Paul’s first fight in August 2018 was one of the year’s most-watched online events.

This isn’t the first time that Paul has brought up allegations of KSI breaching their contract, though, as he made a similar accusation on an episode of his “Impaulsive” podcast back in November.

Since KSI has gotten back into a rhythm of uploading daily videos to his alternate YouTube channel, there shouldn’t be too long of a wait until he issues a response of some sort to Paul.
