YouTube star Tana Mongeau may have tied the knot with Team 10’s Jake Paul, but the internet still isn’t buying their relationship – and neither his Jake’s ex-girlfriend, Erika Costell.
Costell finally opened up about her ex’s live streamed wedding during an episode of “Under the Influence” with Tom Ward, where she threw some not-so-subtle shade toward his union with Tana.
“…we also got fake married in Vegas – sounds a little familiar,” Erika said of her past relationship with Paul. “…I think they like the controversy. I think it gets them going. I don’t know, because I don’t do it, but to each their own.”
This news didn’t go unnoticed by Mongeau for very long, who published a series of Tweets on the subject after being tagged in a story concerning Costell’s comments by J-14 Magazine.
“…waking up every day to headlines like this is so defeating,” Mongeau wrote. “Not asking for pity, knowing I subjected myself to this. This life has cons due to the incredible pros – but according to Tana Mongeau, f*** this s***.”

That’s not all: Mongeau went on to address the rampant speculation and concern surrounding her marriage to Paul, admitting that she does love the YouTuber and is “tired” of the controversy.
“Call our marriage whatever you want, but I do love Jake,” she continued. “Maybe I’m an idiot for it and maybe all of my dumb mistakes are being aired as they happen in real life and that sucks. …I guess I’m just tired and don’t want y’all to think I’m ignoring what I see everywhere.”

Mongeau’s Tweets follow a Q & A video uploaded on November 20, where she made some concerning comments regarding her marriage, jokingly calling herself a “doormat” and claiming that the decision to open their marriage wasn’t “voluntary” on her part.
With Mongeau also claiming that she would likely never be “exclusive” with Paul – and not for lack of want on her part – it makes sense that fans are concerned, but it looks like the speculation shrouding the topic is leaving her a little burnt out.
