While most of the Fortnite Season 7, Week 2 challenges are fairly straightforward, the one about dancing in an abandoned warehouse seems to have left more than a few players scratching their heads.
The second week’s challenges went live on December 13 and the Battle Pass exclusive task asking players to “Compete in a Dance Off at an abandoned mansion” was certainly among the more interesting of the bunch.
While the challenge might seem somewhat cryptic, it’s actually pretty simple to complete. All you need to do is head to the abandoned mansion on the eastern edge of the map (the one that used to belong to the heroes) between Lonely Lodge and the desert biome. We’ve marked the exact location on the map below.
Once you get there, head down to the basement and you’ll find a dance floor covered in colorful tiles. As this is challenge involves a dance competition, you’ll need a duo partner to help you complete it. If you don’t have one, try the Team Rumble mode as there are sure to be other people in your predicament!
Stand on one side of the dance floor while your partner stands on the other. This will spark the dance off and both players will see a color for the tile that they need to stand on at different stages.

The player that gets the most points during the dance off will win, but both players will complete the challenge just by taking part.
In fact, it even looks like you can even interrupt someone else’s dance off halfway through and this will still count as competing!
As is always the case, make sure you complete your game by being eliminated or winning the match before leaving. If you return to the lobby early, your challenge progress might not be applied.
