Streaming star Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is teaming up with Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, for a special promotion featuring new content for hit battle royale title Fortnite.
Epic Games and Disney have already worked together to bring exclusive Star Wars cosmetics into Fortnite.
Now, perhaps the game’s most popular personality has teamed up Star Wars’ most recognizable face to announce new content coming to the battle royale title.
I had the pleasure of spending some time with THE LEGEND @HamillHimself. Can’t wait to show you what we’ve got planned next Thursday with @Xbox and @FortniteGame !! #XboxPartner #bucketlist pic.twitter.com/K406c9wy0C

The two didn’t go into much detail about what we can expect, but we’re just days away from finding out. Since Hamill is taking part, it certainly seems like a good bet that Star Wars will be involved. We’re fresh off the special screening, but it looks like there’s even more planned.
Announcements like this were no doubt expected by fans when Ninja made the switch to Mixer. With Ninja’s roots with the Halo franchise, it was a matter of time before Microsoft would be looking at ways to promote various Xbox games.
It started when Ninja was given an exclusive first look at Gears 5’s single-player campaign, and now it looks like things have crossed over into his wheelhouse of Fortnite.

The announcement will be part of the Xbox Sessions series where guests will play a game while showing off some new features.
In the video Ninja posted, you could see him playing with Mark Hamill already, so it seems like he already knows a bit about what’s actually coming to the game.
Being able to work with one of the greatest legends @HamillHimself and getting to teach him about our gaming world was such an honor. He also taught me a lot about voice acting, super memorable moment. pic.twitter.com/k6ATQxmCn7

With this collaboration coming out just a day before Episode IX releases, it’s possible Epic Games have one more thing up their sleeves before the launch of the new movie.
Mark Hamill is the star of the original Star Wars trilogy, so perhaps we could be seeing Luke Skywalker enter the game along with Princess Leia and Han Solo.
That would certainly be a good way to conclude the plethora of Star Wars content that has arrived in Fortnite. Whatever the future holds for the game, we won’t have to wait long to find out.
