Twitch superstar Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has had enough of the Drum Gun in Fortnite Battle Royale, and wants Epic Games to make some major changes to the weapon moving forward.
There is no doubt that the Drum Gun is considered to be among the most powerful weapons in the game, and it’s been one of the main topics of discussion for the community over the past week or so.
In fact, its overpowered nature was exactly why the Drum Gun spend so many months in the vault before being returned to the game on May 4.
One prominent player who isn’t a fan of the weapon is Ninja, who has already made it clear that he believes the Drum Gun has a negative impact on the game.
Ninja tweeted about the Drum Gun again on May 13, suggesting that Epic Games should do something to mitigate the influence it has on matches.
“Drum Gun needs to be vaulted again or made into Epic rarity, with the same spawn as a [Boom] bow,” he tweeted.

In the comments section, he also made it clear that he would welcome a change made to the weapon itself, in addition to its spawn rate.

Of course, at the start of Season 9, the Drum Gun’s availability was dropped by over half – from 16.732% to 7.155% – but Ninja wants it to be lowered all the way to 0.755%, which would be the new spawn rate of the Boom Bow.
In order for this to happen, the weapon would likely have to only come in Epic and Legendary rarities, so Epic would have to get rid of the Uncommon and Rare variants.
Ninja followed his previous tweet up with another that showed his hysterical reaction to dying in a match while live-streaming.
Although in that particular sequence he was eliminated with a pistol, he said that the ‘spaz attack’ reaction is one he has “every time I die to a Drum Gun.”

Drum Gun returns to Fortnite BR
After spending nearly eight months and four seasons in the vault, the Drum Gun was finally unleashed back into the game on May 4.
A massive ‘Unvaulting’ event gave fans the opportunity to vote for one of six vaulted weapons/items to be brought back into the game, and the largest percentage of votes went to the Drum Gun.
