Twitch star Tyler ‘Fortnite match after numerous updates have made popular landing spots less viable.
Epic Games’ latest patches for their battle royale have made numerous controversial changes which have led some players to approach the early game way different than before.
Ninja and his squad had landed at a popular landing destination in Retail Row only to be met with instant chaos, leading the team of streamers to scramble after contesting multiple engagements.
Retail Row? More like Death Row
Unfortunately for Ninja’s squad, they were quickly overwhelmed and subsequently eliminated as pressure from all sides started closing in.
After quickly losing out in a heated warzone, the Twitch star gave his thoughts on Retail Row after the popular siphon mechanic was taken out of the game.
“Why is Retail the worst spot in the world to land, man,” Ninja said. “There was only one time Retail was a good place to land, that was when siphon was in the game.”

“Here are the worst places to land in the game right now,” Ninja said after getting eliminated. “Pleasant Park, Retail Row and Tilted Towers.”
As to why he felt that way, Ninja noted the disproportionate amount of resources a player could scavenge from the points of interest to the players that land there which instantly creates a frenzy.
“All those places are like hot drops that have like not enough mats and loot that actually get healing and materials when you come out of it if another squad lands there,” Ninja said. “Heck, Pleasant [Park], you can come out of there with no shield. That place is terrible.
Even though those point of interests have been a big part of the game’s history, it doesn’t look like Ninja would advise to land there for players who’re looking to get a Victory Royale.
