With rumors that Rockstar Games will announce Grand Theft Auto VI imminently, a new ‘ leaker’ claims to know how the company will roll out its GTA 6 reveal.
Thus far, leaks have suggested that the sixth installment in the franchise will be revealed on March 25 and a new 4chan leak has elaborated on those claims.
“Choose if you want to believe this leak or not; after all, everyone will find out the truth soon,” the anonymous poster began. “This info was obtained from multiple insider sources throughout the social media teams at various game studios including Rockstar Games, WB Montreal, Nintendo, Activision, and EA.”
According to the leaker, on March 25, Rockstar Games will officially announce GTA 6 on all of its social media channels with the first trailer coming the following week.
This would be very similar to how Rockstar revealed GTA V. On October 25, 2011, the company simply tweeted “#GTAV” along with a link to their website that featured the game’s logo.
On November 2, 2011, the first trailer dropped, giving players a look at their modern take on San Andreas.
“Vice City, 1980’s,” they added, seemingly confirming the rumored return to Rockstar’s take on Miami. “Apparently, there is a way to play cops in the multiplayer mode (aka GTA Online) but I couldn’t get too much on that, I’ll try to look into it further though.”

The leak also made claims about the next Zelda game, Call of Duty 2020, Battlefield 6 and Overwatch 2 – none of which has been confirmed.
“Call of Duty 2020 is Call of Duty: Black Ops and will be a reboot to the series in a similar way the new Modern Warfare was to its series. To be set during the Vietnam War and finally remove Specialists. Announcement to come in mid-May,” they claimed.
However, it was the Zelda ‘leak’ that may cause gamers to press X to doubt these allegations. “Nintendo to announce BOTW sequel at their E3 replacement online Direct. May not be the final title, but the most common one said was The Legend of Zelda: Dark Tombs; apparently will have a darker, spookier theme this time around like Majora’s Mask,” the leaker wrote.
The Breath of the Wild sequel had already been announced at E3 2019, though there hasn’t been any new information on it since. That said, the fact that the leaker says the sequel will be “announced” during an online Nintendo Direct is suspicious.
As always, take all these leaks with a grain of salt, but with March 25 nearing we won’t need to wait long to find out of they’re real.
