League of Legends players have discovered a hilarious effect that can be created with new champion Sylas.
Having been officially revealed on January 8, Sylas is the latest addition to the League of Legends champion roster.
Now available for testing on the Public Beta Environment (PBE), players are already figuring out the quirks of the new champion.
A mage with the ability to mimic enemy ultimates, Sylas is quite unlike any other champion in the game. Though it remains to be seen how this will play out in a competitive setting, players have already realized a particular quirk of Sylas’s ultimate.
Under the right circumstances, it seems Sylas can use his abilities to become the largest champion in the game.
This possibility was originally shown off by u/Pokemaster131, who realized that by using Sylas’s “Hijack” ultimate to copy the ultimate abilities of Cho’Gath, Nasus, and Renekton – all of which cause their respective champions to increase in size – Sylas could become very large indeed.

The concept was later followed up by League of Legends YouTuber Vandiril, who experimented with a number of different effects for increasing Sylas’s size.
By combining size-increasing abilities with Shyvana’s ultimate, for instance, Vandiril could transform into an enormous dragon that dwarfed the regular drake, which itself is significantly bigger than most champions.
How Sylas impacts the game in real matches remains to be seen, but it seems likely that this won’t be the last amusing effect that players find by copying the right combination of ultimates.
