The Overwatch League 2019 Grand Finals were watched by over 300,000 viewers on Twitch but shortly after the event ended, people started to complain that they hadn’t received drops for watching.
The Grand Finals promised fans who watched with a Twitch account connected to their Battle.net exclusive OWL-themed sprays.
Still days after the event ended, there were multiple posts on Twitter and Reddit from fans who were wondering when the sprays would show up.
Where are our sprays?
In response to all the questions about where the sprays were, the Overwatch League posted an update on Wednesday, October 2.
“A systems issue prevented some fans from earning drops on Sunday,” the league said on Twitter. “We have the best fans in the world, and to celebrate OWL2019 with you all, we’re giving all 3 rewards to EVERYONE who tuned in on Twitch with a linked account.”

Speaking of Overwatch cosmetics, Blizzard recently unveiled two new BlizzCon skins for Genji and Symmetra that turn the pair into Night Elves from Warcraft – another Blizzard franchise.
The skins will be exclusively available to Overwatch players who order the BlizzCon 2019 Virtual Ticket, exactly when they’ll be available is unknown, but it will probably be sometime shortly before the event in early November.
There’s also the Halloween Terror event coming up for Overwatch, which promises even more new cosmetics for players to collect and show off.
Thanks to some timely leaks, we also know that Junkertown will probably be the next Overwatch map to get a Halloween reskin, after images showing a dark map with some assets missing were posted to YouTube.
There’s no exact start date for the Halloween Terror event yet, but in the last three years the event has started on the second Tuesday of October, which would be October 8 in 2019.
