Popular YouTuber Jake Paul has challenged yet another notable personality to a boxing match – and this time, his potential opponent happens to be the American rapper known as Soulja Boy.
Paul, who previously boxed and won vs YouTuber Deji, called out the rapper in a Tweet on February 1, simply writing, “I wanna box Soulja Boy.”

Update: Soulja Boy has since responded, and it seems like the fight could be on. He replied on Twitter, writing, “Boy, I’ll knock you out.”

Jake Paul has since fired back in kind, Tweeting, “Yeah yeah, and you probably think Tyson copied the way you punch.”

Soulja Boy himself was part of a recent scandal, after openly selling knock-off consoles on his website in late December and early January.
His initial console line was removed from his store after apparent legal action from Nintendo, and his site was completely taken off the net following the subsequent release of his ‘Soulja Game’ console (a knock-off PS Vita with PSP specs).

Paul’s latest callout follows his previous challenge towards FaZe content creator Ricky Banks, who Paul hoped to fight in a boxing match preceding Logan Paul’s rematch with YouTuber KSI.
While Banks appeared to entertain the idea, no official date has been set for a bout between the two internet personalities, and it appears that their fight may never come to fruition.
Soulja Boy isn’t the first rapper Paul has challenged, either; the YouTuber has likewise called out singer-songwriter Chris Brown multiple times, making sure to call Brown a “bitch” during a vlog in November of 2018.
Paul has called out other notable personalities, as well, one of which was mixed martial artist Dillon Danis. After talking smack online, the two finally met in person at a nightclub, where they surprisingly appeared to get along.
Jake made it clear that he would not be granting a rematch to YouTuber Deji Olatunji, claiming that he wants to fight someone “at an elevated level.”
