Shortly after a PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn was announced, one hardcore PlayStation fan destroyed their setup in order to vent their frustration.
One of the most iconic games of the PlayStation 4 generation, Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn, expanded on the open-world genre in new ways and collected a heaping serve of Game of the Year awards when 2017 came to a close.
Three years later and Aloy’s wondrous adventure is now headed to PC’s around the world. The March 10 announcement seems to have left a bitter taste in the mouths of die-hard PS4 fans, however, including one .
While the announcement came as a pleasant surprise to the large majority of gamers, a few extreme fans were left upset as what was once an exclusive title to the PlayStation nation, is now set to jump ship.
“Thanks for f***ing nothing,” Twitter user ‘THEAP99’ said in response to the announcement, and even went as far as to tag a wide array of accounts, from former Guerrilla Games director-turned- head of PlayStation Worldwide Studios, Hermen Hulst, to former Sony president Shuhei Yoshida.
“Decades thrown away and now it was all for nothing,” they tweeted, alongside a clip of their now-destroyed gaming setup, which seems to have been caused by their rage at the PC announcement. “Great way to spend my birthday.”

The clip itself revealed an overturned desk, cables left in a total mess, and a shattered monitor that seemed to have been flung to the ground after the Twitter user had read the news.
Clearly frustrated by the fact PC gamers will soon be able to experience one of the best-selling PlayStation 4 titles without needing to join the console family, so to speak, this diehard fan seemed absolutely livid.

Following in the footsteps of Microsoft as they release all exclusive titles across both Xbox systems and PC’s through the Microsoft Store, perhaps the Horizon port is the first sign of things to come for Sony.
It's confirmed! Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition is coming to PC 🏹
We're excited that more players will be able to meet Aloy and explore the world of Horizon Zero Dawn this summer! https://t.co/Q1BknmCsQT

Potentially a sign of things to come as Sony gears up for the next console generation, perhaps many future PlayStation exclusives will follow suit and be released across various platforms moving forward.
From The Last of Us Part II, to Ghost of Tsushima, Sony is closing out the PS4 lifecycle with a bang, but maybe these titles will soon be accessible for PC gamers as well… apparently much to the dismay of the hardcore console fanbase.
